Meet The Team

Ken Walks Dogs began in 2017 while I was working at a veterinary clinic in Austin. Caring for pets with medical needs and behavioral sensitivities showed me the need for a higher standard of professional pet care: one built around safety, structure, enrichment, and genuine attention. What started with a single client grew into a full-service company serving hundreds of dogs throughout Austin. Today, our trained, certified team combines veterinary-informed care, professional training principles, GPS tracking, and detailed communication to give every pet a safe, enriching experience and every pet parent peace of mind.

Eddie and Ken go back more than 10 years, all the way to their days as vet techs at Hometown Animal Hospital. In fact, Eddie was there the day Ken found his now 13-year-old dog Olive as a puppy! Today, Eddie brings that same experience to Ken Walks Dogs, where he's completed over 5,000 pet care services and helps keep the day-to-day running right alongside Tori and Alexis.

Like all KWD team members, Eddie is CPR and pet first aid certified, and he rides with dog seatbelts and cold AC for safe, comfortable Austin adventures.

At home, Eddie shares his space with his cat Ash, who tolerates the whole arrangement graciously.

Tori has been with Ken Walks Dogs since 2022 and has completed over 5,000 pet care services for KWD clients. As Ken's right-hand woman, she's the steady hand behind much of what makes KWD run, and the reason so many pups get excited when the doorbell rings.

​

At home, Tori answers to her pug Donut, a card-carrying member of the KWD social network who's already friends with most of the pack.

Alexis joined Ken Walks Dogs in May 2023 and has completed over 5,000 pet care services for KWD clients. As Assistant Manager, she's a driving force behind KWD's day-to-day, and one of the most trusted faces in the network for clients and pups alike.

​

Like all KWD team members, Alexis is CPR and pet first aid certified, and she rides with dog seatbelts and cold AC for safe, comfortable Austin adventures.

At home, Alexis reports to a senior cat with strong opinions and a well-managed staff of one.

Ian joined Ken Walks Dogs in 2024 and quickly became our most popular pet sitter, completing more overnight services for KWD clients than any other team member. Whether he's hosting pets in his home or staying in yours, dogs settle in fast with Ian, and clients keep coming back to prove it.

Like all KWD team members, Ian is CPR and pet first aid certified. He also rolls in a bonded and commercially insured truck outfitted with dog seatbelts and cold AC, ready for epic Austin adventures whenever your pup is up for a ride.

Rachel has been with Ken Walks Dogs since 2024 and has completed over 1,000 pet care services for KWD clients. She's also an incredible artist, and if you're lucky, your dog just might come home from their staycation with a professionally hand-painted portrait of themselves. Yes, really.

Courtney is a dog walker and pet sitter with Ken Walks Dogs, and she comes as a package deal with her 13-year-old mix breed, Maya. Sweet, social, and endlessly patient, Maya has become a great friend to so many client dogs, and she's living proof of the care Courtney brings to every pet she meets.

Michael is a dog walker and pet sitter who brings big dog dad energy to every visit, and the pups can tell. He's also a professional photographer, which makes him the undisputed king of capturing incredible photos and videos of your dog mid-adventure. If your camera roll suddenly has its best shot ever of your pup, Michael was probably behind it.

Clay (they/them) is a dog walker and pet sitter with Ken Walks Dogs, and a proud dog parent to a boxer mix at home, so they know firsthand what it means to trust someone with your best friend.
