Our dog boarding option offers a true Austin staycation—your dog stays in one of our employees’ child-free, pet-free homes for a calm, cozy experience with constant supervision. Boarding team members never leave dogs alone for more than four hours at a time, and every stay includes consistent walks, meal planning, sleepovers, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Social dogs may also join our Playcare day trips during their stay for extra fun and stimulation.
For added peace of mind, your complimentary Fi GPS collar lets you know when your sitter is near your dog, and our entire team is available 24/7 to support the caregiver if needed. Just like with pet sitting, we have trusted, established relationships with Austin’s emergency veterinary clinics, ensuring fast, informed care if something unexpected ever comes up. Overnight service in your pet's home
Our in-home pet sitting is designed to keep life feeling normal for your pets while you’re away. We care for your dogs and cats together, follow your pet’s existing routine, and ensure sitters never step away from the home for more than four hours at a time. Walks, meals, sleepovers, enrichment, and real quality time are all included—not rushed check-ins. Social dogs are also welcome to join our Playcare day trips during their stay for extra adventure and enrichment.
You’ll receive GPS-stamped arrival notifications in the Ken Walks Dogs app, and your included free Fi GPS collar alerts you when your sitter is near your dog. We’ll happily take care of plants, mail, and packages while you’re gone, and our sitters are supported by 24/7 on-call team members should anything unexpected arise. We also maintain established relationships with Austin’s 24/7 emergency veterinary clinics—so if the rare emergency occurs, your pet is already in capable, connected hands.

Get your social pup out of the house and into the heart of ATX for an epic half-day Playcare adventure. We thoughtfully curate small, compatible packs for private pool parties, park play, scenic greenbelt hikes, guided kayak rides, and more—seven days a week. Every outing is intentional: we walk in small packs of just 1–3 dogs per handler, pairing your dog with vetted, reliable friends from the Ken Walks Dogs network. We never go in blind and hope for the best—this is about investing in thoughtful friendships over time.
We don’t spend hours pounding the pavement in the sun. Our adventures are carefully paced with indoor walks through pet-friendly businesses, water breaks, cool-down time in the car with cold A/C between outdoor destinations, and enrichment that keeps dogs regulated and comfortable—even on Austin’s hottest days. Pool Parties for Dogs
Beat the Austin heat with our daily doggy pool parties—one of our most-loved adventures. Each outing includes safe, supervised transport to one of our dog-friendly pools, where dogs can cool off, play, and explore the water at their own pace. Life vests are always available for new swimmers, and we’re right there beside them, helping build confidence, comfort, and positive associations with the pool.
There’s zero pressure and absolutely no forcing—ever. Some dogs jump right in, others prefer to observe, and both are wins. Simply watching another social dog enjoy the water is an incredible form of desensitization. Learning to swim is a lifelong safety skill, and when it’s introduced the right way, it’s also an absolute blast! Every pool party is about encouragement, trust, and letting dogs discover the joy of water on their own terms.

Ken Walks Dogs is your dog's personal chauffer! Schedule a Pet Taxi on demand and one of our licensed, registered, and commercially insured pet care professionals will take your pets wherever they need to go. Services range from quick rides between home and office, daycare pickup and dropoff, veterinary chaperone, and pet relocation services. All vehicles are equipped with standard canine safety equipment like crates or dog-seatbelts. Schedule a ride starting at $35!
