Our Adventures are thoughtfully designed 60-minute outings that give dogs a change of scenery, purposeful movement, and mental enrichment beyond a standard neighborhood walk. Each Adventure includes safe, supervised transport to a nearby dog-friendly destination — such as a park, trail, or green space — chosen to match your dog’s energy level and confidence.

 

By default, Adventures are private outings for your dog, allowing us to fully tailor the pace, environment, and focus to their individual needs. If you’d like a more social experience, we’re happy to thoughtfully pair your dog with one compatible adventure buddy. We support dozens of social dogs enjoying Adventures across Austin every week, and any pairing is done intentionally based on temperament, size, and play style — never at random.

During each Adventure, we focus on structured walking, calm exploration, leash manners, neutrality training, and confidence-building exposure to new sights and smells. Water breaks, shade, and rest are always built in, and our handlers remain actively engaged the entire time. This is not a rushed hike or chaotic group walk — it’s a guided, purposeful outing designed to leave your dog fulfilled and relaxed.

All Adventures include GPS-tracked pickup and drop-off, real-time notifications, and photo updates in the Ken Walks Dogs app. Our team is professionally trained, commercially insured, and backed by 24/7 on-call support, ensuring your dog is safe and supported from start to finish.
